Furnace rolls are used in through type furnaces with open heating and closed atmosphere. The main aim is the transportation of rolled products to the furnace during heating. Depending on the type of furnace there are different shapes, designs and processing. If it is necessary to reduce temperature of the roll they use water such rolls are called “water-cooled”
